Dr. Conor Campbell is a highly skilled and compassionate oral surgeon joining us after completing his surgical residency in New York at Montefiore Medical Center. As a recent graduate, Dr. Campbell brings a fresh perspective and cutting-edge techniques to his practice, along with a commitment to excellence and patient-centered care.
Dr. Campbell comes to the Wilmington area from Orange County, NY where he grew up the youngest of five children. After completing high school, he studied biology at Syracuse University. While spending his off hours shadowing medical and dental professionals, he was inspired to work in the healthcare field. This led him to earn a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree at Temple University School of Dentistry, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. He then continued his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. His training at Montefiore has made him well versed in performing a wide range of surgical procedures, including dental implant placement, wisdom teeth extractions, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, and oral pathology management. He uses that same training and caries it forward as a volunteer faculty member at the Christiana Care , Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program.
Outside of work, Dr. Campbell can be found exploring the Delaware county and Wilmington area with his wife and baby boy. Together they enjoy the solace of outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and golf. He also spends his free time exercising his creativity and attention to detail through woodworking and other projects around the house.
Dr. Campbell prioritizes patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout every stage of treatment. He takes the time to thoroughly educate his patients about their treatment options, answer questions, and address their concerns, empowering them to make informed decisions about their oral health. Dr. Campbell has an open line of communication and is looking forward to working together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
